Opening Reception: Thursday, May 9, 6:30 - 8:30pm 2D Tamara Phillips: Tamara's art is inspired by raw beauty of the natural world, resonating cellular life and ethereal wildness. Her detailed watercolour paintings are woven together in earth tones and play with iridescence. She draws from her subconscious and her fascination with the overlays between myth, dream, intuition, and reality and filters it through her affection for nature and her background in biology. 3D David Wagner: Using local hardwoods such as Maple, Birch, and Walnut, David creates one of a kind artistic pieces, vessels, bowls, and platters. David's preference for fluid shapes and his careful selections of grain and burls within the wood, contributes to the uniqueness of the pieces by providing natural patterns, colours and depth. Ultimately, he allows the wood to dictate the esthetic of the finished piece, enabling the natural beauty of the grain to shine through.

Opening Reception: Sat, May 25, 2:00-4:00pmAnne GudrunFrom a young age Anne Gudrun has intuitively observed how lines, colours and shapes define the essence and personality of things. As an artist she explores her subject from her own unique vision of the world, and her paintings are interpretations and expressions of what she sees and experiences.Whether creating the figurative representation of a person or the abstraction of a flower, she explores the interactions between the shapes and colours on canvas; each colour and shape becoming its own character and contributing to the work as a whole. Her paintings reflect the beauty of nature with bold vibrancy and an innate sense of design.Born in Toronto, raised in North Vancouver, Anne Gudrun attended Art College in Norway and her work is in private collections in both Norway and Canada.
